The big thank you!

This is how you feel after cleaning up 48,340 pieces of rubbish! This year's cleanup was the biggest yet. We collected almost 15,000 more pieces of marine debris than last year from Tassie's wildest beaches - breaking the 200,000 pieces of rubbish mark for the lifetime of the cleanup - and we couldn't have done it without the amazingly generous support of our legendary sponsors and supporters.

The 2014 Cleanup Team would like to extend the hugest thank yous in the world to the following fantastic organisations, businesses and individuals who make this epic expedition happen every year.

Our wonderful sponsors … Patagonia Australia, Southern Ocean Adventures, Pennicott Wilderness Journeys, TSIC, AWM Electrical, Mures Tasmania, Wildcare, Ralphs Tasmanian Seafood, Miellerie Honey, Gillespies Ginger Beer, Wursthaus, Moo Brew, Hill Street Grocer, Bookend Trust and Modern Musician.

And our extremely generous and fabulous supporters … Christine Wright, Ash Hollick, Bill Harvey, Heather Moors, Louise Williams, Andrew Hooper-Nguyen, Gra Murdoch, Simon Bradshaw, the Community Development crew at Hobart City Council, Mark Hollick, Jessie Meaney-Davis, Johnny Abegg, Matt Bolton, Angus Davie, Ben Harbinson, Nadine Treister, Simon Branigan, Essie Rogers, Clancy Moore, Deirdre Granger, Rowena Morrison, Joanna Pinkiewicz, Megan Letts, Amanda Shone, Lauren Horsey, Ben Buxton, Maraccas, Maddie Price and some wonderful folk who wish to remain anonymous.

Thank you so much! We couldn't do it without you
